1. General Policy Overview

  • The webinar fee is ₹49 (non-refundable except in specific circumstances outlined below)
  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email
  • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days after approval
  • Payment gateway charges (if applicable) are non-refundable

2. Participant-Initiated Cancellations

2.1 Cancellation Before the Event

  • More than 48 hours before the event: No refund. However, you may request to transfer your enrollment to a future session (if available)
  • Less than 48 hours before the event: No refund or transfer allowed
  • No-show (absence without notice): No refund

2.2 Why No Refunds?

Given the extremely low entry fee (₹49), refunds are generally not provided because:

  • Administrative costs exceed the ticket price
  • Resources have already been allocated (platform access, materials, certificates)
  • Limited seats are held and may prevent other interested participants from enrolling

2.3 Transfer to Future Sessions

  • If you cannot attend, you may request a transfer to a future webinar session
  • Transfer requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled event
  • Transfers are subject to availability of future sessions

3. Organizer-Initiated Cancellations or Rescheduling

3.1 Event Cancellation by Organizer

If we cancel the webinar due to unforeseen circumstances (technical issues, speaker unavailability, force majeure, etc.), you will be entitled to:

  • Full refund of the registration fee (₹49)
  • OR Free enrollment in the next available webinar session

Refunds will be processed automatically within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

3.2 Event Rescheduling by Organizer

If we reschedule the webinar, you will be notified via email and WhatsApp (if opted in). You may choose to:

  • Attend the rescheduled session at no additional cost
  • OR Request a full refund if you cannot attend the new date

Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the rescheduling notification.

4. Technical Issues and Access Problems

4.1 Platform-Side Technical Issues

If you are unable to access the webinar due to technical issues on our end (platform failure, incorrect access credentials, etc.), you are entitled to:

  • Full refund
  • OR Free enrollment in the next available session
  • OR Access to the webinar recording (if available)

You must report the issue during the live session via WhatsApp or email.

4.2 Participant-Side Technical Issues

We are not responsible for technical issues on your end, including but not limited to:

  • Internet connectivity problems
  • Device compatibility issues
  • Incorrect or lost access credentials due to your error
  • Failure to test equipment before the event

No refunds will be issued for participant-side technical issues.

5. Content or Experience Dissatisfaction

  • Refunds are not provided based on subjective dissatisfaction with content, teaching style, or perceived value
  • The webinar description, agenda, and objectives are clearly stated on the website
  • By enrolling, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the event details and agree to the offering

6. Duplicate or Erroneous Payments

  • If you are charged multiple times due to a payment gateway error, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full
  • Contact us immediately at lamanacademy@gmail.com with proof of duplicate payment
  • Refunds for duplicate payments are processed within 7-10 business days

7. Recording Availability

  • Recording of the live webinar is not guaranteed
  • If recordings are made available, access details will be communicated separately
  • Recordings are provided as a courtesy and do not replace live attendance
  • No refunds will be issued if recordings are not provided or if you miss the live session

8. How to Request a Refund or Transfer

If you believe you are eligible for a refund or transfer based on this policy, please contact us:

  3. Reason for refund or transfer request

9. Refund Processing Timeline

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days from the date of approval
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during registration
  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5-7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account
  • Payment gateway charges (typically 2-3% of transaction value) are non-refundable

10. Non-Refundable Situations (Summary)

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Participant-initiated cancellations less than 48 hours before the event
  • No-show or absence without notice
  • Technical issues on the participant's end (internet, device, etc.)
  • Dissatisfaction with content, teaching style, or perceived value
  • Failure to attend the live session without valid reason
  • Unavailability of webinar recording

11. Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, acts of God, etc.) that result in event cancellation or postponement:

  • We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event
  • Full refunds will be provided if rescheduling is not feasible
  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

  • Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate revocation of access to the webinar and any future events
  • Unwarranted chargebacks will be disputed with supporting documentation
  • Please reach out to us first to resolve any payment concerns

13. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued enrollment after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
